Warranty Terms
STATEMENT OF THIS WARRANTY:
- A. As stated in these warranty terms, Structa Deck has designated Linyi Senwei Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. as its authorized representative. The company is registered at the commercial office building located at the intersection of Mengshan Avenue and Sihai South Street in Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province, China.
- B. Please read the following warranty terms carefully before purchasing, installing, or using Structa Deck products.
- C. These warranty terms constitute the basis for the purchase of Structa Deck products, and Structa Deck reserves the right to the final interpretation thereof. The purchase and use of Structa Deck products shall be deemed as acceptance of these warranty terms.
- D. “Structa Deck Products” refers to the products sold by Structa Deck to the Initial Purchaser as specified in the sales contract or pro forma invoice.
- E. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to:
– The original purchaser of Structa Deck products purchased directly from Structa Deck;
– The last purchaser of Structa Deck products prior to installation.
LIMITED YEARS OF WARRANTY
- 3-Year Limited Warranty
For the Structa Deck products listed below, the term of this limited warranty is three years from the date of purchase and delivery to the original consumer.
– Interlocking decking tiles purchased from Structa Deck.
- 5-Year Limited Warranty
For the Structa Deck products listed below, the term of this limited warranty is five years from the date of purchase and delivery to the original consumer.
– WPC Classic Series decking purchased from Structa Deck (1st Generation);
– WPC 3D Wood Grain Series decking purchased from Structa Deck (1.5 Generation);
– WPC Classic Series wall panels purchased from Structa Deck;
– WPC Classic Series fencing purchased from Structa Deck;
– Vinyl flooring purchased from Structa Deck.
- 8-Year Limited Warranty
For the Structa Deck products listed below, the term of this limited warranty is eight years from the date of purchase and delivery to the original consumer.
– WPC Co-extruded Series decking purchased from Structa Deck (2nd Generation);
– WPC Co-extruded Series wall panels purchased from Structa Deck;
– WPC Indoor-Specific wall panels purchased from Structa Deck;
– WPC Co-extruded Series fencing purchased from Structa Deck;
– SPC flooring purchased from Structa Deck;
– SPC wall panels purchased from Structa Deck;
– Sound-absorbing wall panels purchased from Structa Deck.
CONTENT OF WARRANTY
- Structa Deck hereby warrants that—provided all profiles are utilized in residential decking applications, are subjected to normal residential use conditions, and are installed and maintained in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines—said profiles shall not delaminate, crack, rot, or collapse due to fungal decay.
Should the Buyer wish to file a warranty claim, the following information must be provided:
To initiate the warranty claim process, the Buyer must submit photographs of the defective products (which must be clear, detailed, and include both close-up and wide-angle shots), the end-user’s original proof of purchase (e.g., a receipt or invoice), proof that the Buyer has compensated their own customer (e.g., the compensation amount or the quantity of replacement products issued), and a clear, detailed written description of the nature of the defect. The proof of purchase must clearly display the date of purchase, and the quantity of Structa Deck products listed thereon must be sufficient to cover the scope of the claimed loss.
- All warranty claims must be submitted to the designated email address of the relevant Sales and Quality Control Department within 30 days from the date the defect or damage becomes visually apparent.
Structa Deck will respond to the Buyer’s claim submission within 10 business days of receipt. Once the manufacturer determines the claim to be valid, Structa Deck will implement appropriate remedial measures—specifically, by issuing to the Buyer an equivalent or prorated quantity of new Structa Deck products, in accordance with the percentages outlined in the *Warranty Schedule*, to replace the defective materials.
As a general principle, the manufacturer provides compensation solely for the loss of the defective products themselves; the manufacturer assumes no liability for any additional costs or consequential damages arising from said defective products (including, but not limited to, labor costs, shipping charges, personal injury claims, etc.).
- Due to variations between production batches, the color of replacement products may not match the original products exactly, although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure the highest possible degree of color matching. Replacement products will be delivered alongside subsequent shipments of goods; as a general rule, we do not accept the settlement of claims through direct deductions from the Buyer’s outstanding invoices. EXCEPTION OF WARRANTY
- A. In practical applications, the color of almost all materials will gradually fade over time when subjected to prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and other climatic conditions; therefore, normal, naturally occurring fading is not covered by this warranty. However, if severe and abnormal color variation or fading occurs, and the user is able to provide conclusive evidence, compensation may be considered. Structa Deck provides no warranty coverage for other issues arising from climatic or environmental conditions (such as mold growth, water contamination, air pollution, etc.).
- B. Product damage resulting from the purchaser’s failure to comply with the *Installation Guidelines* and *Care and Cleaning Instructions* provided by Structa Deck is not covered by this warranty. Such instances include, but are not limited to: improper assembly, application, transportation, storage, or cleaning methods; improper maintenance procedures or frequency; and the misuse of accessories or tools not recommended by Structa Deck.
- C. This warranty expressly disclaims all liability for product failure or functional anomalies resulting from the use of Structa Deck products in applications or environments not recommended by Structa Deck.
- D. Any product failure or loss caused by “Force Majeure” events (such as hurricanes, floods, droughts, earthquakes, typhoons, acts of war, etc.) is not covered by this warranty.
- E. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear resulting from the daily use of the product.
